Engineer for Air Defense

About the Position

In the role of engineer for air defense, you will play a crucial role in the development and integration of advanced technical systems. You will have the opportunity to plan and conduct technical investigations aimed at improving and developing our communication solutions for air defense, ranging from long-range systems to drones. A central part of the work involves coordinating technical systems and ensuring that different subsystems work effectively together.

Your tasks will also include defining requirements, designing, integrating, and testing systems to ensure they meet the needs of the Armed Forces. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and external parties within the defense industry, providing you with a platform to influence and contribute to important projects.

The position is based in Stockholm, and travel may be required.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering or equivalent relevant qualifications. You have experience working with communication or information systems; experience with military communication or information systems is a plus but not a requirement for the position.

You have experience working in projects. Furthermore, you have knowledge in one of the areas of systems engineering, integrated logistics support, information security, configuration management, or systems safety. You have excellent skills in Swedish and good skills in English, both spoken and written.

We see it as an advantage if you have knowledge of the army and air defense.
